Bo Kaap, Cape Town
Bo Kaap is home to a majority of Cape Town's Malaysian population. This little street in South Africa has a very interesting story behind its colourful streets for which it is known around the world. Bo Kaap, formerly known as Malay Quarter, was where the slaves of Cape Town resided and it wasn't as colourful as it is today. Only after the abolition of Apartheid, was this little revamped to express tehir joy and bring about a little more colour in everyone's lives!
